Investing in a tiny home is more than just choosing a space - it's choosing a lifestyle that brings flexibility, connection, and independence. At Rolling Bear Tiny Homes, we partner with clients who seek a simpler, more connected way of living - whether they're downsizing, creating a private retreat, or providing a home for a loved one close by. Our homes become a foundation for cherished memories, offering the ideal balance between privacy and proximity.
From creating multi-generational spaces to independent, mobile living, these testimonials showcase how our tiny homes have changed lives. Here's what our clients have to say about their Rolling Bear experience:
Step into the warmth and charm of the Honey Bear, a farmhouse-style tiny home designed for simplicity and natural beauty. With a single loft featuring a cozy queen bed, this model makes the most of vertical space while offering a spacious, open feel. Abundant natural light floods the home, creating a bright, inviting atmosphere perfect for unwinding or entertaining. Thoughtfully crafted finishes add rustic elegance, making the Honey Bear a delightful retreat that combines comfort and style in a compact footprint.
The Brother Bear model blends functionality with farmhouse-inspired charm, offering flexible living arrangements that suit various needs. A queen-sized bed on the main floor provides easy accessibility, while a secondary loft accommodates an additional queen bed or can be used as a generous storage area. With its rustic finishes and cleverly designed spaces, the Brother Bear is perfect for families or guests, offering comfort and practicality without sacrificing the cozy appeal of a tiny home.
What a beautiful home you have created for me! I am so grateful for all your love and patience through out the entire experience. Here’s a little Tofino memory for your Holiday tree!
We are very happy with the Rolling Bear Tiny Homes Studio purchased from John. Since this purchase we have sold our home with the studio and are now in the market to have Rolling Bears build us another!
Since we live on Vancouver Island, we purchased one of Rolling Bears Backyard Studios, sight unseen. Although we felt the quality described and the pictures shown, we were still a bit nervous about paying a deposit before physically inspecting the product. Trusting John, upon the arrival of the product, my husband and I were “more” than pleased with the workmanship and value, the materials and detailed work. For anyone looking for an extra room to work in or use for another function, office or studio, we highly recommend this company, a home away from home feeling!
We are overall pleased with our newly built Panda Bear. It looks amazing on our property overlooking the lake in Salmon Arm BC. We know its going to be a popular BNB rental. John and Dawn are amazing people who love what they do, and it shows in their finished work. Thank you for everything!
Well, this Tiny Home has been a life saver! As aging farmers, this has been the perfect solution. We welcome young volunteer farmhands from all over the world and they get to stay in the tiny home and help us with farm chores. This way, we can continue to farm and keep our animals happy and healthy. Our farm hands love the Tiny Home, it’s a rustic modern feel as well as its practical usability. They especially love its tiny fireplace. They couldn’t be any happier with the Tiny Home, which of course makes us very happy too. Win win!
I recently had a Kodiak Bear designed and built by Rolling Bear Tiny Homes. Their quality, ideas and workmanship are superb and difficult to beat! John is very professional, focused and works very hard on your tiny home in a timely manner. He is dependable and offers many creative ideas. I would not hesitate to recommend Rolling Bear Tiny homes to anyone. The end results exceeded my expectations.
We were very happy to see how John had utilized the space and provided our necessities with skill and design. Meeting John (Owner and founder of Rolling Bear Tiny Homes) was great help and motivation. We initially bought his Black Bear show home on a 3-axle trailer to begin our project. John was available and present in every step of the way, visiting us multiple times over the years becoming a true friend. Having lived in the Black Bear for 3 years, we had John design and build us another Tiny Home addition to our property project. We recommend his talent and creative abilities to anyone seeking to purchase a Tiny Home!
John of Rolling Bear Tiny Homes was hired to design and build a tiny home as a trial run for our Fishing lodge on Vancouver Island. We are very pleased with the Salmon Bear and the phenomenal layout in the space we had to work with. The feedback from our guests has been very positive.
We are very pleased to have taken this journey with Dawn and John in creating our Skylar Rolling Bear Tiny Home. The groundwork and design are truly limitless. Creativity can be shown in so many ways, and John certainly figured out how to take our ideas and make them work! The cabinets are amazing and the craftmanship is impressive. This house is built for life from the floor to the roof. We are excited to start our new life journey.
